Due to uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and fall school formats, World Salmon Council has made the difficult decision to cancel fall field trips. With our resources, we are developing alternative programming. We are adapting curriculum to new mediums, creating new video assets, and reorganizing materials to bring the Salmon Watch program to students in the classroom, and at home.

Adapted Curriculum
We will deliver a series of 6 modules to Salmon Watch Teachers. Three assets in each module work together to create a learning ecosystem.

New 3-5 minute videos will be produced to enhance Salmon Watch for years to come.

Requested by teachers. Fun and interactive. (e.g. Quizlet or Kahoot!) Activity/Q and A. Builds on video and quizzes for enhanced learning in class or at home.

60-minute Wrap-up virtual event for each Salmon Watch classroom. Our dedicated volunteers and inspirational Student-Educators will create community around salmon education.
