With the 2016 Salmon Watch field trip season complete, it’s time to thank our amazing volunteer educators, teachers, and supporters! Salmon Watch wouldn’t be possible without all you do!

Please join us for our Salmon Watch Happy Hour & Volunteer Thank You Celebration on Tuesday, December 6th from 4:30-7:00pm at Widmer Brothers Brewing (929 N Russell St, Portland, OR). Come network with other Salmon Watch affiliates and supporters, enjoy a drink and refreshments, and hear stories from this year’s field trip season. The event is free and open to the public, all-ages and family friendly.

As mentioned above, our work wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of Salmon Watch contributors. Our funding determines where we grow, what we can offer, and who we can serve. Now more than ever it is imperative that programs like Salmon Watch survive and thrive. By donating to Salmon Watch, you can help increase environmental and scientific literacy in the next generation of decision-makers, get kids and adults outdoors, and encourage them to form connections with nature that will promote a sense of ecological responsibility. All of this will be vital to protecting our natural heritage in the years to come.

Therefore, we highly encourage you to donate to Salmon Watch today for #GivingTuesday, or as part of your year-end giving.

But don’t stop there. Consider hosting your own online peer-to-peer fundraiser for Salmon Watch! We’re partnering with Network for Good to provide tools that make setting up your very own fundraising page quick and easy. To get started, just follow this link: https://worldsalmoncouncil.networkforgood.com

Once again, thank you for all you do to support experiential outdoor education and ecological literacy. We hope to see you at our Salmon Watch Happy Hour celebration!
