We started out our Salmon Watch season with a burst– of rain that is! Portland Waldorf School traveled to the Salmon River last Thursday and the students and volunteers experienced some torrential rains. That downpour seems to have allowed a number of salmon to return to their spawning grounds in both the Salmon and Zigzag Rivers with students observing firsthand the wonders of nature!
