The World Salmon Council’s 2014 Salmon Watch program will soon be in full swing. Due to popular demand and widespread community support, the program has continued to expand over the past few years in the greater Portland metro area and the mid-Columbia Gorge. This year 41 teachers, more than 1,200 students, and scores of agency experts and volunteers from Forest Grove to Dufur will be participating in Salmon Watch 2014.
We are most grateful for the generous support of our partners and sponsors including the US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Portland General Electric, Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission, Trout Unlimited, Dick’s Sporting Goods, The Fly Fisher Foundation, Rose Tucker Charitable Trust, Jackson Foundation, Oregon Community Foundation, Fly Fishing Arts & Conservation Society, Gray Family Foundation, and numerous other supporters.
